ALICE ROOSEVELT WAS HARDCORE. “She was known as a rule-breaker in an era when women were under great pressure to conform. The American public noticed many of her exploits. She smoked cigarettes in public, swore at officials, rode in cars with men, stayed out late partying, kept a pet snake named Emily Spinach (Emily as in her spinster aunt and Spinach for its green color) in the White House, and was seen placing bets with a bookie.

Rock on.

Was the entire Roosevelt family bad ass bosses?

"Emily Spinach" laughing forever I love it

Why Engagement Rings Are a Scam

Sooooo, no ring is what you’re saying?

well ain’t that a bitch …

Learned about this last year.

Mass media is pretty damn amazing like that, not gonna lie.

Pretty much. I also don’t like how it causes conflicts between friends who are getting married around the same time. Two friends of mine almost got into a fight when they talked about the engagement rings their husbands-to-be gave them and one found out how much more pricey the other one’s ring was. (It was not fun becoming their referee, man.)

Me, I got no interest whatsoever in a diamond ring. I’d rather the money be put into an investment or college fund if I should choose to have children with my partner. Heck, doesn’t even have to be for college, a fund at all is much more worthwhile than a terribly overpriced ring with zero resale value.

How shallow are you that you’re gonna get pissy over price of a ring?…Seriously if he proposes to me with an onion ring I’d be ecstatic.

I really like this gif because Stitch does that little squinty thing that animals do when they’re really happy and relaxed and you can tell that he’s having such a superb time playing that little ukulele

Rescued dogs - before and after! These people who saved them did an amazing job!

These pictures always make me want to cry, this is why I am always saying I hate humans. Fuck.

Loves the pets!

My heart.
